Dear Sapitos Parents,

We hope you had a great weekend. This week the Sapitos classroom will have lots of fun learning about the  Animal Kingdom and their habitats. Our sapitos are also planning a wonderful and exciting event for their beautiful mothers.

Special Activities

We will read stories about animals. Please bring in animal books to share with the classroom and if your schedule allows it, we welcome you to join us and participate in this reading activity.

We have also planned to  hear animals’ sounds and make animals arts and crafts.

We will have planned a fun activity for SFF Mothers on Friday, May 6th. You all are welcomed to join us.

"Las Plantas"/ " The Plants"- Mundo Verde"/"Green World"

Dear Sapitos Parents

We hope you had an extraordinary week. Thank you so much for your attendance during our international festival! Our Sapitos really enjoyed to dance and learn about our Latin American culture and traditions. This week, our Sapitos will continue learning more about plants. We have scheduled a project called Mundo Verde/ Green World. This project will include lots of fun activities such as planting seeds in our garden, etc.

"Las Plantas - The Plants"

Dear Sapitos Parents,

This week we will continue learning about our theme of the month “Las Plantas/The Plants”. We will be teaching the children about trees, the benefits and how they support life of other organisms such as animals. Sapitos will learn what kind of animals live and nest in trees, what kind of fruits animals eat from trees and tips to take care of them.

Special Activities

This week our Sapitos will make a monkey with cardboard.

We will also go outside and we will paint a tree drawn in paper..

"Las plantas"

Dear Sapitos Parents,

I hope you have a wonderful week. This week we will continue teaching more about plants. Our Sapitos will be looking at pictures of plants  and collecting and working with dry leaves, branches and seeds. We will explore, experiment and learn how to water the plants. We will touch different textures, shapes and colors of  fruits. And we will read the book about the carrot seed.

Sapitos will paint flowers with hands in our art center.

Sapitos parents:

We hope you had an excellent week. Our Sapitos last week learned about Latinamerica, this week our new theme for the month will be "The plants/ Las Plantas" and the parts of the plants, trees, etc. This week we have planned fun activities.

Un día en el parque jugando estaba

Con mis amigos de SFF!,

Mire hacia el suelo, vi algo pequeño

La semillita yo vi pasar

Yo la tome con mucho cuidado

Y en una taza con amor la sembré,

Con tierra y agua creció mi plantita

*Please bring pictures from magazines of plants, flowers, trees or anything related to the "The Vegetal Kingdom," we will prepare a collage.
