🔠 What are we learning?

Dear Sapitos Parents,

We are getting down to the last few weeks of Summer Camp! This week we will learn to be Little Athletes. We will continue creating safe learning environments that offer the children the opportunity to explore sports. We have scheduled exciting learning activities that will allow us to continue strengthening motor, cognitive-sensory and language skills. One of them is the Olympics Parade at Sff! Children will create the Olympic Torch for art project, they will also participate in competitions and on Friday, they will have so much fun on our bike ride.

📄 Materials for Special Projects/Activities

• Bring some Olympic pictures to show to the children.
• Have your child wear a t-shirts of their favorite sports team on Monday.
• Have your child dressed like an Athlete on Tuesday. They can be tennis players, swimmers, soccer players, etc.
• Have your child wear a green t-shirt for the activity on Thursday.
• Bring your child’s bike, bike helmet and kneepads labeled with his/her name on Friday.
• Bring swimsuit, splashers or swim diapers, towel, water shoes and a plastic bag for your child on Splash days.

🔆 Friendly Reminders

• Sunscreen and mosquito repellent are important to protect your child because he/she is very susceptible to sunburn/mosquito bites. Yet applying sunscreen and mosquito repellent to your child requires planning. If sunscreen and mosquito repellent must be applied to your child, make sure to fill out an administration or authorization form specifying when sunscreen and mosquito repellent should be applied and be sure to supply the sunscreen and mosquito repellent, label the bottles with your child's name and place them in a Ziploc bag.

Little Creators

Week: July 25th to July 29th, 2016

🔠 What are we learning?

Dear Sapitos Parents,

This week we will learn to be little creators. We will continue creating safe learning environments that offer the children the opportunity to explore nature and use their imagination. We have scheduled exciting learning activities that will allow us to continue strengthening motor, language and cognitive-sensory skills. One of the exciting activities for the week will be water play. Children will give a bath their plastic animals outside in the backyard of the preschool.

• On Monday we will have water play and we will give a bath to our plastic animals.
• On Tuesday we will create an animal using recycled box material.
• On Wednesday we will work on an art project using recycled plastic bottles.
• On Thursday we will do a collage using materials we collect when we explore nature in the backyard of the preschool.
• On Friday we will build a creative piece using box covers or lids.

• Bring clean recycle material such as boxes, plastic bottles, box cover or plastic lids etc on Monday. These materials will be used for all week projects.
• Bring swimsuit, splashers or swim diapers, towel, water shoes and a plastic bag for your child on Splash days.

Dear Sapitos Parents,

This week we will learn to be little gardeners and we will discuss about nature, trees and plants. We will continue creating safe learning environments that offer the children the opportunity to explore and experiment with nature. We have scheduled exciting learning activities that will allow us to continue strengthening motor and cognitive-sensory skills and enjoy contact with nature such as designing flowers with clay, decorating our flower pots, creating a collage with the dry leaves, playing to own a flower shop and be a florist and participating in camping day.

We are scheduling exciting learning activities that will allow us to continue strengthening motor and cognitive-sensory skills such as dramatizing favorite characters, having a Pajama day and participating in a Princess and Knights Dress up Parade.
