"Mi Pais"

Dear Sapitos Parents:
We hope you have had an extraordinary week. Thank you so much for visiting our science fair and congratulations to our students because they worked very hard every days to learn more and more. A “hurray” for our Sapitos for gaining a lot of knowledge with their extraordinary experiments. Our new and wonderful theme for this week is "Mi Pais/ My Country" and our goal will be for our children to learn many things about this beautiful country, the United States, using images, pictures, magazines, and books.

Special Activities:
This week our Sapitos will discover where we are located in the globe.  As our art activity, we will make a flag and learn about what the colors represent. We’ll sing the seasons song and learn about the four seasons and why they are important.  We will have fun learning activities during this week.

  • Please check your child’s journal every day and important information
  • Please take the blankets every Friday and bring clean on Monday.
  • Check your child's cubbies, and bring extra clothes.
  • Do not forget to sign up for Sammy our traveling pet.

"Como Funcionan Las Cosas/ Ciencia en mi Vida Diaria"

Dear Sapitos Parents,

We hope you had  a wonderful week. This week we will continue with our theme: “How the things work / Como funcionan las cosas” also, we will learn about the science that is present is our lives. Last week the Sapitos learned about experiments and they were very excited to learn and observe each experiment. This week our goal is for the children to discover how we can take care the planet through our many planned activities.

Song of the Week

The children in Sapitos class enjoyed singing the song “Como funcionan las cosas”. Parents, please encourage your child to listen to this song at home too. It can be found on our Sff! CD

Special Activities:

This week our Sapitos will learn about how can recycle and we will paint boxes and we will recycle different objects like plastic, carton, paper and trash.

Dear Sapitos parents: 
We hope you had a great and lovely week. This week we will continue learning about our theme: "How Things Work." We’ll become little scientists. Last week our Sapitos had a great time with the Valentine’s Day cards, thank you so much for bringing them for our class.

"Como Funcionan Las Cosas"

Dear Sapitos Parents,

We hope you had an excellent week. This week we will continue with the theme “How Things Work / Como funcionan las cosas.” Last week the Sapitos enjoyed making a robot. This week the children will continue learning with many activities planned.
