🔠 What are we learning?

Dear Sapitos Parents,

This week we will learn about the parts of our body. We have scheduled exciting learning activities related to this theme that will allow us also to continue strengthening fine and gross motor, cognitive-sensory and language skills. Children will also discover people from other countries and that even though we might look different, we are all friends.

We would appreciate if your child can bring a magazine so we can cut body parts and learn together.

🔆 Friendly Reminders

• Bring extra sets of clothing for your child so your child gets changed if he/she gets wet or dirty.
• Bring diapers, rash ointment and wipes for the children that still are not potty trained.
• Bring a blanket every monday and take it home on Friday for laundry.
• Do not bring toys to the classroom.

📆 Holidays & Upcoming Events

• Labor Day on Monday, September 5th. School will be closed.
• International Reading Day on Thursday, September 8th.
• Grandparents Day on Friday, September 9th.

🔠 What are we learning?

Dear Sapitos Parents,

The last week of Summer Camp is finally here and we want to thank you for giving us the opportunity  to teach and take care of your little children. We feel special and value our work and we are glad that the children have experienced new learning adventures with hands-on play during the summer. This week we will learn to be Little Clowns and Magicians. We will discuss about the animals and the magicians in the circus and we have scheduled exciting learning activities related to this theme that will allow us to continue strengthening motor, cognitive-sensory and language skills such as making magic, creating puppets, painting our faces, reading short stories about the life in the circus, etc.

📄 Materials for Special Projects/Activities

• Bring swimsuit, splashers or swim diapers, towel, water shoes and a plastic bag for your child on Splash days.
• Bring a wig if you have at home so your child can wear it for Crazy Hair Day on Monday, August 8th.

🔆 Friendly Reminders

• Sunscreen and mosquito repellant are important to protect your child because he/she is very susceptible to sunburn/mosquito bites. Yet applying sunscreen and mosquito repellent to your child requires planning. If sunscreen and mosquito repellent must be applied to your child, make sure to fill out an administration or authorization form specifying when sunscreen and mosquito repellant should be applied and be sure to supply the sunscreen and mosquito repellant, label the bottles with your child's name and place them in a ziploc bag.
