This week we will learn about celebrations and traditions. We will discuss their significance and how they are celebrated.

We have scheduled learning activities related to this theme to continue strengthening gross and fine motor skills, language and socio, emotional skills.

• Bring a magazine about traditions in different continents.
• Bring a world map of all continents.

🔆 Friendly Reminders

• Bring extra sets of clothing for your child so your child gets changed if he/she gets wet or dirty.
• Bring a blanket every Monday and take it home on Friday for laundry.
• Make sure to label all your child items with your child’s name.

This week we will continue learning about our community helpers and we are going to learn how to give thanks. We are going to talk about the stores and the different places that we regularly visit in our community.

Weekly Featured Theme: Community Places.

Week: November 7^th to November 11^th, 2016.

🔠 What are we learning?

Dear Sapitos Parents,

This week we will continue learning about our community and the environment where we live as well as public and private institutions of our city. Children will start exploring and discovering the places where our community helpers work such as fire fighter stations, dental clinics, veterinarian clinics, hospitals, etc. Children will enjoy the firefighter’s visit on Monday, November 7^th.

We have scheduled learning activities related to this theme in order to continue strengthening gross and fine motor skills, language and socio, emotional skills.

We will appreciate very much if you continue to discuss with your child about our different community places and the role of the community helpers. For example, the firefighters help us to put out fires, the people who works in hospitals help people to get cured from illnesses and people who work in dental clinics take care of our teeth, etc.
