"Como Funcionan Las Cosas/ Ciencia en mi Vida Diaria"

Dear Sapitos Parents,

We hope you had  a wonderful week. This week we will continue with our theme: “How the things work / Como funcionan las cosas” also, we will learn about the science that is present is our lives. Last week the Sapitos learned about experiments and they were very excited to learn and observe each experiment. This week our goal is for the children to discover how we can take care the planet through our many planned activities.

Song of the Week

The children in Sapitos class enjoyed singing the song “Como funcionan las cosas”. Parents, please encourage your child to listen to this song at home too. It can be found on our Sff! CD

Special Activities:

This week our Sapitos will learn about how can recycle and we will paint boxes and we will recycle different objects like plastic, carton, paper and trash. 

Homework

Remember every Wednesday we will send the homework please return the notebook on Monday.

Reminders

• Please check your child journal every day.
• Please take the blankets every Friday and bring them back clean on Monday.
• Check your child's cubbies, and bring extra clothes.
• Please do not bring any kind of toys.  
• Remember every Wednesday we will send the homework to be brought back completed on Monday. 
• Our little pet is Sammy please do not forget to sign up to take him home with you - we have some dates available.
